Engineer trapped red-handed in Telangana

The ACB team went to the deputy executive engineer's office and arrested him at 2.20 pm while he was accepting the cash.

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau on Monday trapped a deputy executive engineer of the Education Welfare Infrastructure Development Corporation, Nalgonda while taking a bribe from a victim.

J. Nagaseshu allegedly took Rs 27,000 from a contractor to process two bills of Rs 10 lakh for constructing water sumps at the social welfare residential schools at Bhongir and Rajapet, ACB officials said in a media release.

The ACB team went to the deputy executive engineer’s office and arrested him at 2.20 pm while he was accepting the cash. Nagaseshu was later produced before the 1st additional special judge for ACB cases, the agency said.
