Visakhapatnam: Veerabhadra Rao Kunam from Visakhapatnam was arrested in the US for allegedly sexually abusing a woman passenger sleeping next to him aboard a flight from Los Angeles to New Jersey on July 30. As per reports, Veera-bhadra Rao, 58, runs a seafood exporting company, Sandhya Aqua Exports Pvt Ltd. His son is based in the US and Rao would travel there to meet him.
Rao appeared before US magistrate Joseph A. Dickson in the Newark court and was released on a $50,000 secured bond. The charge carries a maximum jail of two years and a $250,000 fine.
