Hyderabad: 2 schools shut due to lack of permission

The Mandal Education Officer (MEO) raided the schools after getting information that the schools were not recognised.

Hyderabad: Two schools under the Loyola Model School management were closed down on Monday morning by the Mandal Education Officer as they did not have permission.

The Mandal Education Officer (MEO) raided the schools after getting information that the schools were not recognised. The schools were earlier seized by officials. However, as the schools reopened MEO Heerya Nayak issued notices to them.

The notice said that schools should get permission within a week and only then can they be reopened. Mr Satyanarayana Murthy, the DEO of Ranga Reddy district said, "'Two schools run by the Loyola management in Vanasthilipuram were raided on Monday by the Mandal Education Officer and was shut down as they were running the schools without permission. They should secure permission within a week to reopen the schools''.
