Hyderabad: Burglars make away with Rs 4 lakh, gold
Hyderabad: Burglars made away with around Rs 4 lakh in cash and 20 tolas of gold from four houses at Keesara and Kandukur in Rachakonda commissionerate on Sunday night. The police are working on clues to identify the suspects and nab them.
At around 4 am on Monday, the Keesara police received a call from one D. Anand Kumar, resident of Nagaram, complaining of a burglary in his house. On Sunday night, the Kumar family went to do some shopping at Charminar at around 10.30 am and returned home at around 3.50 am.
Anand found the lock of the main door was broken and the cupboards in one room were open. About Rs 1.1 lakh in cash, a mobile phone and 11 tolas of gold were stolen from his house. The total property loss is around Rs 3.4 lakh. Keesara inspector J. Narendar Goud said that the clues team along with dog squad and the crime team have inspected the scene of the offence and are investigating further.
At Mucharla village in Kandukur, burglars targeted three houses.
