Bengaluru: To continue with her extra-marital affair, a woman gave her paramour a supari (contract) to kill her husband in Kadugodi police limits on Friday night. The woman's husband, however, survived the attack and is said to be out of danger.
The woman, Sudha, gave the supari to her paramour Arun to kill her husband Somashekhar. Sudha and Arun wanted to get married after killing Somashekhar.
Arun could not succeed in his plan after he and his aide, Prasad, launched an attack on Somashekhar on Friday night, while the victim was going to his friend's house. Arun attacked Somashekhar with a lethal weapon, but he survived the attack.
Somashekhar only recently found out about his wife’s affair after checking Sudha's mobile phone and listened to a call recording between the two. When Somashekhar repeatedly asked her about the calls, Sudha hatched a plan with Arun to kill him.
