Hyderabad: A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by four youths in Mahbubnagar on Wednesday night. Police said the drunk youths entered the girl’s house and raped her. The girl, who bit one of the rapists on the hand, identified him.
Police said, the girl, 13, was staying at Marikal village along with her mother and two sisters. Her father died a few years ago. On Wednesday her mother and sisters went to visit relatives in a neighbouring village and told her to sleep in their neighbour’s house.
But the girl slept alone at home. Meanwhile, ‘Tiger’ Mallesh, Satish, Ramesh and Narasimha, who were heavily drunk, forced their way into the girl’s house.
“Satish, Ramesh and Narasimha raped her and when Mallesh was attempting to rape her the girl bit his hand and raised an alarm. Deputy sarpanch Chandramouli heard the girl’s shouts but he thought that it was a domestic quarrel,” police said.
But when he heard the girl shouting continuously he came back and found Mallesh, checking the bite marks on his hands. Seeing Chandramouli, the four fled.
The victim’s mother filed a complaint on Friday. A case of rape was registered and the girl was sent for medical examination. She is now normal. The youths are now in police custody.
