21-year-old engg student collapses in college, dies of cardiac arrest in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: An engineering student, Sachin, 21, collapsed while walking in the corridors of his college located in Kandlakoya, Medchal,. He was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared dead. On being informed by the college management of the incident, Sachin’s parents rushed to the hospital.

Doctors informed them that the boy could have died due to a cardiac arrest and handed over the body to the parents. They did not lodge any police complaint in connection with the death.

Ch Gopal Reddy, director, Malla Reddy Group of Institutions, told Deccan Chronicle that Sachin along with a friend went to the washroom and were walking back to their classroom when he suddenly collapsed. “We immediately shifted him to hospital, but he was declared dead,” he said.

According to reports, Sachin’s family belongs to Rajasthan and were residing at Suchitra near Kompally.
