Hyderabad: The charred body of a 17-year-old girl was found in maize fields in Siddipet district on Friday night. The girl’s father had sent her to the field to keep a watch on the crop, as he had gone to a hospital at Siddipet along with his brother. When they returned home in the night, they found her body which was burnt beyond recognition in the field.
Suspecting that the girl was molested before being killed and set ablaze, Siddipet police registered a case under charges of sexual harassment, murder and attempt to cause disappearance of the evidence.
