Police said the man has not yet been identified.
Hyderabad: The headless body of a middle-aged man was found at the polo ground in Secunderabad on Friday. The body was decomposed and was being dragged by a pack of dogs. Locals found the skull and torso of the victim when dogs were feeding on it. Police suspect the body is around five days old.
Begumpet police, who shifted the body to the morgue, said there are injuries on the hands and legs. The head was completely detached from the torso. Police could not confirm if the victim was murdered or died of natural cause. “The body was found in a corner of the ground where bushes are there. No one had noticed it. We are not sure how the body ended up there,” said a police officer from Begumpet. Police said the man has not yet been identified.
