2 students held for watch theft in Hyderabad

Police recovered the stolen watch and the bike.

Hyderabad: CCTV footage helped Cyberabad police nab two engineering students who stole a luxury watch costing Rs 1.21 lakh from a showroom in Mad-hapur. Police identified them as R. Sahas Choudary and G. Teja. Police said the watch was stolen on February 9 from a showroom in Inorbit Mall. On examining the CCTV footage, police found that two youth had stolen the watch and rode away on their motorcycle.

“Based on the CCTV images, the owner of the bike was identified and their pictures were collected from Facebook.” said an investigation official from the Madhapur police station. Police picked up Sahas and Teja from their homes at Kukatpally. Police recovered the stolen watch and the bike.
