Hyderabad: A youngster from Mirchowk was reportedly stabbed by a driver on Sunday, following a brawl on the former’s comments against a girl, who is a friend of the driver.
According to the Mirchowk police, Hyder Ali, a resident of Purani Haveli went to collect water and saw a couple arguing on the road. Hyder reportedly made some comments against the girl, due to which Afroz got enraged and his friends, who were nearby picked up an argument with Hyder and beat him.
Hyder and Afroz both suffered injuries, but the former received a severe bleeding injury on his back.
The doctors at Osmania General Hospital said that a blunt instrument was used to cause the injury, but they are not sure, if it was a knife or a stone. Hyder is currently stated to be out of danger and a case has been registered, said the police.
