Hyderabad: The SR Nagar police arrested two men for stealing costly articles from online delivery boys.
The duo were involved in a robbery case in Shamshabad earlier, where they sprinkled chilli powder on the delivery boy’s eyes and fled with the delivery boxes, said the SR Nagar police.
The arrested were identified as S. Kishore, 27, and M. Shiva Shankar, 28. “The duo ordered goods online and chose the ‘cash on delivery’ as an option of payment. They called the delivery boys to an isolated place, where they diverted their attention and decamped with expensive gadgets,” said the ACP Panjagutta, A. Vijay Kumar.
SR Nagar police team arrested the duo on Saturday and recovered five smartphones and one laptop worth Rs 1.5 lakh from their possession.
