Two rob businessman, arrested in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Rajendranagar police arrested two persons who allegedly robbed a businessman on the pretext of currency exchange. Police recovered Rs 7 lakh from Sarwar and Salim.
Police said, Praveen, a businessman from Secunderabad, approached Sarwar and Salim through mediators to exchange Rs 7 lakh worth demonetised currency for 25 per cent commission. As per their understanding, Praveen came to Upparpally with the cash and met Sarwar and Salim.
The duo took the cash bag from him saying that they would exchange it for new currency and fled. Praveen, who realised that he was cheated approached the police. Based on clues, police arrested Sarwar and Salim and recovered Rs 7 lakh in demonetised currency. The duo was remanded to custody.
