Hyderabad: A 31-year-old security guard murdered his 21-year-old second wife at a lodge suspecting an extra-marital affair with his brother and surrendered before the Afzalgunj police here on Sunday.
The surrendered individual is Patlavath Ramakrishna and the victim Patlavath Aruna. Police have detained him and registered a murder case against him.
Last night, Ramakrishna killed his wife by strangulating her throat in Room No 202 at Hotel Manikanta in Gowliguda.
Ramakrishna from Gowlidoddi married Aruna a few months back and started suspecting his wife leading to disputes between the two.
Ramakrishna brought her to the lodge and after a couple of hours strangulated her. After committing the offence, he went to Afzalgunj police station and surrendered.
