Chennai: Two youth who robbed a software professional walking from BV Nagar in Mennmbakkam to GST Road to catch an early morning bus to his native Thanjavur, were nabbed by onlookers on early Saturday morning.
According to the police, the youth followed their victim sometime before blocking his way at knifepoint. The two managed to snatch two mobiles, wallet and two sovereigns of gold chain from Manoj Kumar, 23 working in an IT major in the city, before starting to run away. As Manoj followed the two shouting for help, some onlookers managed to overpower the two, later identified as Suresh and Babu, and handed over to Pazhavanthangal police.
