Hyderabad: Troubled by not being able to conceive children, a couple committed suicide by consuming pesticide at their home. The deceased Pandu, 29, and Kavitha, 26, residents of Peddemul village in Tandur mandal, got married seven years ago and were working as daily wage labourers.
The couple had been trying various methods to conceive children but in vain. This saddened them and is said to be the reason for their suicide. According to police, on Thursday, they returned from work as usual but did not come out of their house after that. Later, neighbours found their bodies in the house with an empty pesticide bottle beside them.
