KAKINADA: Shocking news has emerged from Urlagudem in Chintalapudi mandal of West Godavari district about a ‘demo rape’ in a primary school in Urlagudem.

It is alleged that two teachers in the school asked a Class IV male student and a Class I female student to pretend to be man and wife and “do as their parents do”. The teachers brought pressure on the students. As the children were role-playing, the girl was injured.

When people in the village heard of this incident, they reportedly attacked the teachers. The teachers’ union leaders and elders of the village intervened and fined each of the teachers Rs 80,000.
