UP woman chops off husband's genitals

Lucknow: A woman in Muzaffarnagar district chopped off her husband’s genitals when she discovered that he had a second wife. The incident took place on Wednesday in Mimlana area. The man has been admitted to a nearby hospital in a critical condition due to excessive loss of blood. 

Station House Officer, Kotwali police station, Anil Kaperwan told reporters that the man had said that he had remarried with the consent of his first wife because the couple did not have children. The second wife had recently given birth to a child and the man was apparently spending more time with her which angered the first wife. The husband’s family have filed a complaint against the wife and the police have started a probe.
