Hyderabad: A 28-year-old man from the city, who reportedly sexually exploited an assistant director in films, on the pretext of marrying her was arrested by Rajendranagar police.
A police officer said the 28-year-old victim, a native of Mumbai was undergoing training in film direction and had been working as an assistant director. She found one Sainath, 28, a resident of Vanasthalipuram on a matrimony website.
For about a month, the duo had a relationship as they were interested in getting married. She alleged that Sainath had exploited her sexually and later cheated her.
Based on the complaint, a case was registered against Sainath. He was sent to judicial remand on Tuesday after his arrest, a police official said.
