Hyderabad: A 13-year-old minor attacked his brother-in-law with a sword for fighting with his mother on Monday in Pahadishareef. According to G. Puri Jagannath, Sub-Inspector of Pahadishareef police station, the minor was agitated by the constant fights his brother-in-law Md. Azher, 25, had with his mother Naseema Begum.
“Azher married Hafiza, daughter of Naseema Begum a year ago but Azher left her within a month due to issues between the couple. Azher would drop by at Naseema’s house near Pahadishareef dargah and demand that Hafiza return with him, to which Naseema did not agree,” said the official.
“On Sunday evening, when Azher came back with the same demand, the minor lost his patience and attacked him with a sword,” said the official. Azher received injury on his right ear due to the attack.
A case has been registered at the Pahadishareef police station and the minor who is a Child in Conflict with Law, did it to protect his mother from the constant harassment his mother faced from Azher.
