Hyderabad: CCTV leads help nab bike thieves

The arrested persons were remanded and the stolen bikes were retrieved from them.

Hyderabad: Madhapur police arrested two suspects who were involved in bike thefts using clues from CCTV cameras and seized four bikes from them.

The suspects were identified as N. Suresh, 26, a resident of Nizampet in Kukatpally and T. Nageswara Rao, 28, of Gruhakalpa in Kukatpally.

Madhapur detective inspector K. Shashank Reddy said that Suresh had stolen a parked bike near Raheja Mindspace building. Nageshwara Rao stole a bike which was parked in the parking area of I-Labs Enterprises Services Private Limited.

Using clues from CCTV cameras installed at the scene of offence, police traced the suspects and arrested them on Friday.

The arrested persons were remanded and the stolen bikes were retrieved from them.
