A 19-year-old student was arrested for raping and killing a 36-year-old woman in her house. The suspect, Mirza Zeeshan Ali Khan, entered the victim's house with an intention to steal. When the victim woke up, Zeeshan strangled her and raped her after she became unconscious.
Zeeshan, a resident of Purani Haveli, was a graduation student at a college in Hyderabad.Police said the incident occurred in the wee hours of November 3, 2015. The victim, Zeenath, was found dead in the house located at Balsettykhet in Dabeerpura and her phone was missing. “Zeeshan entered the victim’s house through the kitchen window and started searching for valuables.
Hearing the sound, Zeenath got up and started shouting for help. In order to prevent her from raising an alarm Zeeshan hit her with his hand and she fell on the ground,” said inspector M. Mattaiah. Zeeshan strangled her with his hands. “As she continued to resist he took a mobile phone charger and strangled her with the cable. After she became unconscious he raped her,” said the inspector.
While leaving Zeeshan took the victim's phone. The victim died by morning. Zeenath was working as a sales girl.Cops nabbed Zeeshan on Wednesday. He was remanded to custody. Charges of murder and rape have been slapped on him.
