Hyderabad: A techie’s house was burgled when he went for a movie on Monday, in Chandanagar area of Cyberabad.
The unidentified men had burgled with approximately 12 tolas gold.
According to police, Mahender Patel, a software engineer residing at Laxmi Vihar Phase 1 in Chandanagar, head gone for a movie around 10 am on Monday.
“When he returned home around 3:30 pm, Mr Mahender Patel found the lock of the main door broken and upon further checking he found that about 12 tolas gold was missing,” said inspector of Chandanagar B. Ravinder.
Based on a complaint, a case was booked under relevant sections of IPC and an investigation started.
