Telangana: Man Accused of Faking TS Genco Appointment Letters

Hyderabad: Khairatabad police on Friday registered a case against one Praveen for allegedly forging the signature of chairman and managing director (CMD) of TS Generation Corporation (TS Genco) as part of a fake appointment letters scam.
Police said a man received a letter purportedly signed by the TSGenco CMD informing him about his appointment at a company. When his relatives verified with the TSGenco office, he found that the letter fake.
Following this, TSGenco officials ordered a vigilance probe and found that Praveen had given the appointment letter to the man and had collected Rs 10 lakh from him. Police have launched a hunt to nab Praveen, who is said to belong to Bhadradri Kothagudem district.
