Hyderabad: Unidentified persons broke into PL Chand Jewellers at Chandanagar and decamped with gold and silver articles. The incident came to light when the store opened for business on Tuesday. Police said the suspects broke a portion of the rear wall and entered the store.
The value of the loss is being assessed. Miyapur ACP P. Narsimha Rao said special teams have been formed to nab the burglars. “CCTVs at the store and surrounding areas are verified for clues,” he said adding that burglars tried to break open a chest but could not succeed.
