Hyderabad: An RTC bus collided with a lorry, injuring passengers and killing the lorry cleaner in Narketpally mandal on Friday night. The bus, driven by V. Praveen, 38, a resident Governorpet Part II, was carrying 40 passengers. The dead man was identified as Doti Dasarath, aged 29.
“The lorry was parked on the left side of the road and the RTC bus, was approaching Hyderabad from Vijayawada. The bus rammed into the lorry from behind, injuring passengers and the lorry cleaner,” said police. Locals rushed the injured to hospital where the cleaner died.
