Hyderabad: The police summoned BJP MLA Raja Singh in connection with an assault on two police officers at Bollaram last year. The police asked the MLA to appear before the investigation officer before June 4.
Last year, on December 11, the Goshamahal MLA had allegedly assaulted the two cops at the Bollarum police station. The cops alleged that the MLA came out of the station, argued with cops, and pushed the station house officer and an SI for not letting a party worker meet him. Police booked a case against him under Sections 353 and 506. Raja Singh was brought to the police station after he was detained while on way to disrupt the beef festival conducted by Osmania University students.
