'Fake job' racket busted at Delhi airport, 2 arrested

Delhi police registered a case on the complaint of S. Suneel, who had given Rs. 80,000 on the pretext of getting a job in Air India.

New Delhi: In the wake of recently reported cases where people were duped by unidentified persons by delivering false promise to give a job at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, the airport authorities along with the Delhi Police, in a coordinated operation nabbed two accused in the case.

The two accused are Kamal Arora and Anshul Mishra who were later detained by airport officials. Meanwhile, Delhi police also reached airport with team following several such complaints. Both accused were taken in police custody.

Delhi police registered a case on the complaint of S. Suneel from Andhara Pradesh who had given Rs. 80,000 on the pretext of getting a job in Air India at IGI Airport Delhi.

A fake interview of the complainant was conducted to win his confidence. However, the accused stopped responding to phone calls of the complainant after taking Rs. 80,000 from him.

Sensing that, he has been cheated Suneel approached the police and a complete recovery was taken out from both accused.

Kamal, was previously employed at IGI Airport and Anshul had job consultancy profile catering to companies of airport. Delhi police has lodged an FIR and investigation is on.
