Hyderabad: Special needs teen found nude on floor, sexual assault suspected
Hyderabad: A 14-year-old mentally challenged boy was found naked in his neighbour’s house at Chandrayangutta sparking suspicions that he had been sodomised. The three suspects, aged between 20 and 25, had already fled. The victim did not speak much after his parents rescued him and took him home.
Police took the boy to a hospital to check for sexual assault.
The boy’s mother said her son went missing on Monday evening and did not return till midnight. She and her husband searched the neighbourhood and the houses of relatives. Later, they found the boy lying naked on the floor in a house in the same locality where two men live on rent.
“The boy was naked and the two residents of the house were missing. When his parents found him the doors were not locked. The boy initially told his mother that three people had raped him. He did not say anything afterwards,” said SI M. Balaswami of Chandrayangutta police station.
After the rescue the boy appeared to be in shock and did not speak about what happened. His parents approached the police and filed a complaint. “The boy’s parents alleged that the two residents of the house and their friend sexually assaulted their son. We are waiting for the medical report. Doctors have not confirmed rape,” the SI said.
The boy, who was mentally challenged had gone out from his home in Hashamabad on Sunday evening. The two suspects used to talk to the boy occasionally.
Police said that if the medical report confirms rape a case will be booked and persons responsible for the sexual assault will be arrested as per law.
