The duo suffered head injuries and has been in ICU for a few days.
Kendrapara: A four-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her uncle in Rajkanika area of the district on April 24. The matter came to light after her family lodged a complaint at Rajkanika police station on Monday.
The police arrested the accused, who happens to be the girl’s paternal uncle. Sources said the accused came when when the girl was alone in her house, took her to a nearby bamboo bush and raped her. Her mother alleged that the accused threatened them to settle the matter secretly.
