Hyderabad: Tension prevailed at Meerpet, when a scuffle broke between the staff of a wine shop and customers. The angry staff allegedly damaged a police patrol vehicle which arrived at the spot to disperse the fight. Police registered cases on the bar staff and the customers.
According to police, around five persons came to Sri Tirumala wines located at Balapur X roads on Monday evening. After they purchased liquor, an argument broke between them and the bar staff, after which one of the staff attacked them with liquor bottles.
As a result, one of the five persons received a head injury and started bleeding. Angered by this, the other four with him, attacked on the staff. Both parties complained against each other and cases were booked against both parties.
