Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a two-and-half-year-old girl, who was playing outside her house, was abducted by an unidentified boy in Guttepalya in Siddapura police station limits.The girl, Khatija, was kidnapped in broad daylight on Saturday and the incident was captured on a CCTV camera.
According to a complaint lodged by the girl’s father Syed Imaduddin, the incident happened around 1.30 pm when she was playing with her cousin Burhan outside her house. An unidentified boy, aged about 15 years, abducted Khatija.

The CCTV footage shows the boy carrying the girl in his arm on a busy street. Siddapura police have registered a complaint and have started a manhunt to nab the accused.
It is suspected that some youth in the locality are addicts to drugs and one of them might have kidnapped the girl. The reason for kidnapping is not yet known.
