Man murdered in ATM booth by ex-employee
Hyderabad: A 26-year-old man was brutally murdered by his neighbour in an ATM booth while he was withdrawing money in Peddapalli district on Saturday.
Police said the suspect attacked B. Srinivas with a wooden stick due to a personal grudge.
Srinivas, a resident of Godavarikhani town, ran a catering service in the town. He had earlier employed his neighbours Suresh and Ramesh in his business. During a wedding function recently, Suresh had a fight with Srinivas over a petty issue after which his job was terminated. This left Suresh, Ramesh and their families furious.
On Saturday morning, when Srinivas went to an ATM booth at Ganeshnagar to withdraw his mother's pension amount, Suresh followed him from home, entered the booth and attacked him. Srinivas suffered severe injuries on head and collapsed in a pool of blood inside the booth.
Inspector S. Vasudeva Rao said Suresh carried out the attack but it was planned by Ramesh and their family members. A murder case was registered against Suresh, Ramesh and their five family members.
