The man who gave the drugs to Habeeb and the one who was supposed to receive it at Dubai are absconding.
The investigation revealed that the accused had committed several dacoities in and around Bengaluru to raise funds. The investigators are looking to find out if they had committed similar offences in Telangana state.
Hyderabad: A Hyderabadi named Habeeb Mohammed was arrested in Dubai and jailed for carrying banned drugs. He was sentenced to one-year jail and a fine of 20,000 Dirhams.
But the higher court increased the punishment to seven years and 50,000 Dirhams. The man who gave the drugs to Habeeb and the one who was supposed to receive it at Dubai are absconding.
