Bid on life after ragging: Alappuzha Medical College students suspended

Alappuzha: Two MBBS students were suspended after a first year student tried to commit suicide in Alappuzha Medical College. The first year student, a native of Thiruvanamthapuram had cut his vein after seniors allegedly ragged him on Monday night.

Punnapra police said that two seniors asked him to do a moon walk which he refused to do. Following this, the seniors verbally abused him. Some of his colleagues admitted him in hospital when they saw he hurt himself. He was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday.
