Hyderabad: A 23-year-old man who entered a church compound with an air gun on Saturday has been detained by police. The suspect was identified as Khadeer, a resident of Yellammabanda.
According to police, on Saturday morning, Khadeer walked into the campus of the church located near the BJP office at Kukatpally. He entered the compound and started asking church members about their chairman and when they refused to answer, he pulled out the airgun and threatened them.
The church members immediately alerted the cops. But the police later said Khadeer was not of a sound mind and had no intention to harm anyone. However, they were not able to determine how he had managed to source the air gun.
