Coforge Opens Its Fourth Public Library in India
Third library in Delhi-NCR; after one in Noida and one in Gurugram

New Delhi: Coforge, an AI-native engineering services company, on Thursday inaugurated its fourth public library in India at Vasant Square Mall in Vasant Kunj, marking a significant expansion of its flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The facility, named the Coforge Public Library, was inaugurated by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta in the presence of Coforge CEO and Executive Director Sudhir Singh, along with members of the local community, educationists, senior citizens, and students.
Spread across 10,000 square feet, the library offers a seating capacity of 170 and houses a curated collection of over 15,000 books spanning genres such as fiction, non-fiction, children’s literature, business, self-help, spirituality, art, and technology in both English and Hindi. The collection includes titles from global publishers like Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, Pan Macmillan, and Simon & Schuster, alongside Indian publishers such as Karadi Tales, Amar Chitra Katha, Eklavya, Ektara, and Adidev.
The library also features a dedicated children’s zone designed to promote early reading habits through interactive sessions and storytelling activities. Visitors can search for books via digital terminals or seek assistance from library staff. While entry and reading are free, users can borrow books by paying a fully refundable deposit.
Coforge stated that the initiative aims to bridge the gap in access to quality reading spaces and learning resources, particularly in urban areas where such facilities remain limited. The project is aligned with broader national goals of promoting literacy, lifelong learning, and inclusive community development.
Located on the first floor of Vasant Square Mall, the library will remain open daily from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM throughout the year. It is expected to cater to residents of Vasant Kunj and nearby areas including Masoodpur, Mahipalpur, Rangpuri, Kishangarh, and Chattarpur.
The company launched its first public library in Noida in February 2024, followed by Gurugram in June 2025 and Hyderabad in October 2025. Coforge plans to further expand its network of free public libraries across India, with a focus on Delhi-NCR and Hyderabad.
