CEC Changed Form 6 To Help BJP: Rahul
Form 6 is an application through which an eligible person seeks inclusion in the electoral roll for the first time: Reports

NEW DELHI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday accused Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of changing Form 6 “illegally and unilaterally” and said Kumar and others involved would be held accountable.
His remarks came after the Supreme Court said it had not approved any modifications to Form 6 used by the Election Commission during the special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in various states.
Form 6 is an application through which an eligible person seeks inclusion in the electoral roll for the first time.
Gandhi shared on X a screenshot of the Election Commission’s September 26 statement, which said: “The declaration attached to Form 6 for SIR has been upheld by the Hon'ble Supreme Court. For non-SIR period, the Forms applicable as per Rules (the Registration of Electors Rules 1960) will be used.”
“It is now established beyond doubt that Gyanesh Kumar changed Form 6 illegally and unilaterally. This is just one more proof of him abusing his position to help the BJP,” Gandhi wrote.
“He and everyone else involved in this criminal assault on our democracy will be held accountable,” he said.
Congress general secretary in charge of communications Jairam Ramesh also accused Kumar of lying.
“Form 6 was deliberately modified by the CEC himself to delete Gen Z voters of whom the PM is simply terrified,” Ramesh said on X.
Speaking to reporters, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi said: “It's very clear that these deletions that have taken place are against everything our constitution and our election process stands for. We are protesting about that.
I think the public has now realised that the elections have been manipulated, and we will continue our protest.”
