Can't ‘Hand-Hold’ HC In RCA Row
The bench, however, said all issues concerning the elections and their results would be decided by the High Court: Reports

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Wednesday said the Rajasthan High Court would decide petitions concerning the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) elections and the declaration of results, declining to intervene in the dispute.
A bench comprising Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, Justice Joymalya Bagchi and Justice V. Mohana observed that it could not "hand-hold" the High Court in deciding petitions relating to the RCA elections.
The bench said parties aggrieved by the High Court's decision could approach the Supreme Court, but it could not issue peremptory directions on rival claims at this stage.
On September 29, the Supreme Court had refused to stay the RCA elections scheduled for that day but directed that the results should not be declared.
During Wednesday's hearing, senior advocate Manan Mishra urged the bench to permit the declaration of results of the elections held on September 29.
The bench, however, said all issues concerning the elections and their results would be decided by the High Court.
It clarified that the ombudsman could come into the picture only if the High Court held that the RCA elections had not been conducted validly.
Earlier, counsel for the Rajasthan government had informed the Supreme Court that the High Court had appointed an administrator for the cricket association.
