State rolls out digital classrooms and AI-enabled learning to improve school education.

New Delhi: The Bihar government on Thursday launched “Bihar School Live Classes” and free online coaching classes for competitive examinations to expand access to technology-driven education in the state.
Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary inaugurated the programme at the Government Girls' Higher Secondary School in Shastrinagar, stating that the initiative aims to provide equal access to quality education, modern technology and competitive exam preparation.
He said the online coaching classes, including NEET and JEE preparation conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board, will enable students to receive guidance from expert teachers through digital platforms.
The Chief Minister said the initiative is part of efforts to promote smart classrooms, live learning and digital education, and to strengthen competitive examination-oriented teaching.
He announced that “Bihar School Live Classes” will be introduced in high schools across the state and unveiled the logo of the ‘Bihar Smart Live Classroom’.
The education department also signed memorandums of understanding with seven voluntary organisations to support the programme, with services to be provided free of cost to students.
Officials said the partnerships will focus on areas including artificial intelligence, foundational literacy and numeracy, STEM education, mathematics and science, instructional leadership, computational thinking, coding, design thinking, project-based learning, teacher training, AI-based assessment and data-driven academic management.
