AP Celebrates Biggest and Fastest Amazon Prime Day

Prime members across Andhra Pradesh shopped from a wide selection across smartphones, electronics, fashion, beauty, home & kitchen, everyday essentials and more during Amazon India’s biggest and fastest Prime Day

Andhra Pradesh: Amazon India’s biggest-ever Prime Day concluded with encouraging participation from Prime members across Andhra Pradesh. The 10th edition of Prime Day saw more Prime member engagement from Bharat than previous Prime Day events with more than 70% of the new sign-ups coming from tier 2 and 3 cities and towns.
During the three-day event, customers across Vijayawada, Vizag and other cities shopped across categories including smartphones, consumer electronics, fashion & beauty, home & kitchen, everyday essentials, grocery, large appliances and furniture.

Customers in Andhra Pradesh increasingly upgraded to premium, reflecting the growing adoption of Prime across the state. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy M47 and OnePlus N6 were among the top sellers in tier 2 and tier 3 towns as well. Home Entertainment witnessed 1.25X YoY growth driven by TCL, Sony and Samsung. Camera orders increased 3.85X YoY, led by brands such as DJI, Fujifilm and Instax. Home, Kitchen & Outdoors grew by 1.15X YoY, while premium headphones drove 1.7X YoY growth with JBL, boAt and Sony emerging as popular choices. Beauty orders grew 1.3X YoY, with brands such as L’Oreal Paris and Dyson leading this growth. Premiumization trends were also evident in the automotive segment, where 7 out of 10 buyers of Harley-Davidson, KTM, and Triumph motorcycles came from tier 2 and tier 3 cities. Demand across categories highlights a growing consumer preference for premium technology, home appliances, lifestyle products, and content-creation tools.
