Kurnool: A young man was found murdered in Nandyal on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Shaik Shamir, who ran a chicken pakoda shop in the town.
The incident occurred when Shamir, unable to bear the summer heat, decided to sleep on the roof of his house on Sunday night. But, during the night, unknown people climbed to the roof and brutally killed him by slitting his throat. Shocked family members observed his dead body in the early morning and immediately alerted the police.
The Nandyal 3-town police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the murder. Police officials suspect that an extra-marital affair may have been the motive behind the murder.
