Amit Shah To Review UP Poll Preparedness At 2-Day BJP Meet
Amit Shah will review the BJP’s election preparations in Uttar Pradesh at a two-day state executive meeting from October 30, followed by visits to six organisational zones.

Union home minister Amit Shah will review the BJP’s poll preparedness in Uttar Pradesh at a two-day meeting of the party’s newly reconstituted state executive committee beginning October 30. With Assembly elections due early next year, the BJP is aiming for a hat-trick in the "politically crucial" state.
According to BJP sources, the Union home minister, during the executive committee meeting, is expected to seek feedback on organisational and state-related issues. " Shah will share tips for the impending electoral battle in the state with karyakartas. He will also discuss the seat-sharing formula with senior BJP leaders ahead of parleys with alliance partners, sources said.
Following the executive committee meeting, Shah is scheduled to visit all six organisational zones of the BJP in Uttar Pradesh — Paschim, Braj, Kanpur, Awadh, Kashi, Gorakhpur — from the first week of November. He will hold separate meetings with party leaders and workers in these zones to assess preparations for the elections.
BJP president Nitin Nabin is also likely to attend the two-day meeting, which will be attended by Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, deputy chief ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, and state BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary, among others.
The BJP on Monday announced its reconstituted state executive committee, comprising 712 members, including 548 executive committee members, 134 special invitees and 30 permanent invitees. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, an MP from Varanasi, and defence minister and Lok Sabha MP from Lucknow Rajnath Singh are among the permanent invitees.
