Vijayawada: YSRC leaders, led by MP V. Vijayasai Reddy, on Wednesday released a poster at the party office here on unveiling of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s statue.
The MP, along with ministers Merugu Nagarjuna and Adimulapu Suresh, apart from MP Nandigam Suresh, released the poster related to “Samajika Nyaya Maha Silpam” and “Samajika Samatha Sankalpam Sabha”.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijayasai Reddy said Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is implementing the ideas of Ambedkar, who strived for uplift of Dalits, weaker sections and backward classes.
Minister Nagarjuna appreciated the CM for installing the statue in the heart of Vijayawada. He wished that Dalits would extend support to Jagan Mohan Reddy, who has been following the ideals of the Dalit icon.
Minister Suresh called upon people to attend the unveiling ceremony of Ambedkar statue in large numbers.
