After Sugar Boards, Now Oil Boards in CBSE Schools
In a letter to all school heads, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) urged the promotion of healthy meals and physical activity through the availability of nutritious food options and various wellness initiatives.

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on July 15 directed all its affiliated schools across the country to establish dedicated 'oil boards' within their campuses.
In a letter to all school heads, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) urged the promotion of healthy meals and physical activity through the availability of nutritious food options and various wellness initiatives.
Earlier in May, the board had also directed the schools to set up sugar boards with in their campuses. The move is part of a broader nationwide awareness and intervention strategy to reduce excessive sugar consumption among school-going children.
