(Student | appeals) Application window open till June 6

New Delhi:Nearly 44,000 students have applied for verification and re-evaluation of CBSE board exam answer sheets, the board said on Wednesday.

The Central Board of Secondary Education said it received 43,980 applications, including 4,924 for verification and 39,056 for re-evaluation, as of Wednesday noon.

“The portal has accepted 4,924 applications for verification and 39,056 applications for re-evaluation (total of 43,980) as of 12 noon today,” the CBSE said.

The board said the online portal allows payments through gateways of State Bank of India, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda and Indian Bank, and students are not required to hold accounts with these banks.

“Students need not have an account with these banks to complete payment but can use any of these payment gateways to make payments,” it said.

The facility, launched on June 2, is available to students who have obtained scanned copies of their evaluated answer books. The application window will remain open till June 6.

The board said the entire process, including submission and payment, is being conducted online and advised students to rely on official communications for accurate information.

It also said the portal witnessed cyberattack attempts aimed at disrupting services during the process.
