11 Months After His Appointment, MP BJP Chief Constitutes New Executive Committee, All Senior Party Leaders Accommodated

The executive committee has accommodated all the senior leaders of the party in the state.

Bhopal: Around 11 months after he was appointed president of Madhya Pradesh unit of ruling BJP, Hemant Khandelwal, also a sitting MLA, on Tuesday constituted a new 147-member state executive committee, including 41 permanent invitees.

The special invitees will be announced very soon, party sources said.

The executive committee has accommodated all the senior leaders of the party in the state.

Prominent among the executive members included chief minister Mohan Yadav, Union ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Virendra Kumar, Durga Das Uike, and Savitri Thakur and two deputy chief ministers of the state, Rajendra Shukla and Jagdish Devda.

Ministers in the Mohan Yadav government such as Kailash Vijayvargiya, Prallhad Patel, Rakesh Singh, Sampatiya Uike, Vijay Shah, Inder Singh Parmar, Uday Pratap Singh, Tulsi Silavat, Inder Singh Kansana, Nirmala Bhuriya, Govind Singh Rajput, Visvas Sarang, Narayansingh Kushwah, Chetan Kashyap and Krishna Gaur.

Sources said the first executive committee may meet in July second week.
