Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa Movie Content Goes Missing
‘Kannappa’ also stars Mohan Babu and R. Sarath Kumar and features cameo appearances by Prabhas, Mollywood actor Mohanlal, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, and others. Scheduled to release later this year, the film was about to enter post-production.

Hyderabad: A producer of Manchu Vishnu’s upcoming movie ‘Kannappa’ on Tuesday lodged a complaint with police after a hard drive having unreleased content of the movie had gone missing under suspicious circumstances.
According to the complaint filed by Reddy Vijay Kumar, executive producer of 24 Frames Factory, the VFX vendor for ‘Kannappa’ is Hive Studios, located in Mumbai. The crew shipped the hard drive via DTDC courier to their office in Filmnagar.
The courier management stated that the parcel reached the office on Sunday. An office boy named Raghu received the package and handed it over to a woman named Charitha.
Later, when the production team inquired about the hard drive, Charitha could not be found in the office and remained untraceable. Raghu confirmed that he handed the drive over to her. The company suspects that Charitha may have absconded with the VFX content on the drive in an attempt to damage the film and the production house.
The management reported the incident to the police and filed a case. A police official stated that a case has been registered for criminal breach of trust and that they are currently on the lookout for the missing accused.
