Maganti Sunitha, KTR Move HC Against Bulk Inclusion of Voters

Hyderabad: BRS candidate for Jubilee Hills bypoll Maganti Sunitha and party working president K.T. Rama Rao approached the Telangana High Court seeking directions to Election Commission to look into their representations on the alleged bulk inclusion of voters in Jubilee Hills constituency. Both of them alleged that the Congress party had included names of fake voters fearing defeat in the JH bypoll.

The counsel for EC informed the court that already CEO directed DEO to verify the voters list and process is going on and petitioners have unduly rushed to the court. Considering the EC’s submission, the court disposed of the case by observing that no specific directions required.
