Celcius Logistics Enters Pharma Cold Supply Chain with ₹50 Crore Investment

New vertical aims to ensure safe, tech-enabled transport of medicines and vaccines across 100+ Indian cities by 2025-end

Celcius Logistics, a leading tech-driven 3PL and cold supply chain solutions provider, has unveiled Celcius+, a dedicated logistics arm focused exclusively on pharmaceutical supply chain management. The new vertical aims to address the sector’s stringent demands for temperature control, regulatory compliance, and real-time shipment visibility, ensuring safe and efficient transport of medicines, vaccines, and other sensitive healthcare products.

Celcius plans to invest ₹50 crore initially, creating a specialised pharma fleet and support infrastructure. This includes deploying 100 new reefer vehicles worth ₹35 crore along key pharmaceutical corridors and allocating ₹10–15 crore towards a tailored pharma courier system targeting high-demand urban and semi-urban markets. The company targets ₹100 crore in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) from this segment within 18 months.

To support the expansion, Celcius will onboard 30–40 pharma logistics experts. The Celcius+ platform will feature advanced tech solutions such as AI-enabled route optimization, continuous temperature monitoring, and centralized control towers for 24/7 tracking—ensuring adherence to Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and industry standards.

Founder & CEO Swarup Bose said, “India’s pharmaceutical sector is among the fastest growing globally, yet product integrity during transit remains a challenge. Celcius+ sets new benchmarks for safety, transparency, and operational excellence in pharma logistics. This focused investment reinforces our mission to bridge cold chain gaps and enable safe, timely delivery of life-saving products.”

Celcius+ plans to partner with leading pharma companies and extend services to over 100 cities by year-end. The offering will cover primary, secondary, and last-mile distribution for high-value products such as vaccines, biologics, insulin, and specialty medicines.

The 24-ft reefer fleet is equipped with advanced telematics, digital locks, interior and exterior CCTV, and real-time temperature and location tracking to ensure product integrity and rapid response to any transit anomalies.

Earlier in 2025, Celcius Logistics raised ₹250 crore in an oversubscribed Series B round to boost technology upgrades and expand its network from over 600 to 1,000+ cities, reinforcing capabilities across all verticals, including Celcius+.
